Mission Statement

The objective of the West End Art Krall is to bring attention to the creative and remarkable talents of unique and imaginative Artists and Crafters, both within and outside Vancouver’s West End, to the world, and to create a Co-operative Artist’s Gallery within the West End.

In so doing, we hope to have everyone around us ‘Experience Vancouver’s West End!’

General Information

The West End Art Krall is an event run by the West End BIA, a non-profit entity. The event is meant to bring visitors to the businesses in the West End, and at the same time provide a venue for local artists to display their art and create public awareness of their art. Artists can be involved by having an exhibition in one of the businesses that is a member of the WEBIA. It is an opportunity for artists to show their work and also work with the business association in the West End community. We have emerging artists who deserve an opportunity to showcase  their work, where they may not otherwise have such an opportunity.

As indicated above this event is meant to bring visitors to the businesses in the West End, and at the same time provide a venue for local artists to display their work. There will also be visiting guest artists.

The event is open to artists using any medium: artists, sculptors, quilters, photographers, performers, textile artists, and/or galleries. The Official Art Krall Guide is now posted above.

There will be a prize draw, with draw boxes in each location where there is a merchant host, as well as other merchant locations throughout the West End.
